We started with AlpineReplay - a free stat tracking app
for skiers and snowboarders. AlpineReplay, now called Trace Snow,
has since become the most used, highest rated stat tracking app
in the world.
But we want to bring our technology and expertise
to the rest of the action sports community. Here’s the team
that’s going to do just that.
CEO / Co-founder
Anatole has spent his entire career working on GPS technology and is to credit for Trace’s superior data processing technology and data accuracy. Before Trace, Anatole was CTO and VP of Magellan Navigation where he had been responsible for, among other things, developing GPS, and sensor algorithms since 1993.
Product / Co-founder
David grew up in sunny, Southern California and became an avid snowboarder and surfer early on. Trace is the product that he always wanted growing up. Before Trace David was trading foreign exchange options for Barclays Bank in Singapore. He has an AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University.
In the last four years, Trace technology
has recorded a lot of data. Here’s a snapshot of it.
From over half a million users.
But it was Laird…on a hydrofoil…
in the middle of the ocean.
A combined 102 days of airtime.
At the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.
Where Trace has been used.
In four years, and hundreds of thousands of users,
we’ve gotten a lot of questions, complaints,
praise, sarcasm, inquiries, bugs reported,
and forgotten passwords.
But it’s the most
important part of our company —
communicating with our users.
We’ve been lucky enough to have some of the
most loyal and helpful users in the world.
They’re the ones who have made Trace technology
what it is today.
Customer support will always be the most important
part of Trace. So, you have a question?
We’ll always have an answer.
